1. What is your short screenplay about?

Ascent follows the life of a little girl as she grows up and becomes a great inventor.

2. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

It may be a bit cliché, but I do believe that to move forward in life we must first look backwards. At its best this idea can not only lead to closure, but to a realization of our greatest potential. I think that done well Ascent and stories like it have the power to inspire someone to reflect on his or her life and discover the beginning of some new, surprising creation of their own.

3. How would you describe this story in two words?

Infinite and infinitesimal.
