Film Review: TROLLS (USA 2016) ***

The new Dreamworks animation released by 20th Century Fox, TROLLS is a happy enough 3D computer-animated musical buddy comedy film based on the dolls of the same name created by Dane Thomas Dam way back in 1959.

Film Review: DOCTOR STRANGE (USA 2016) ***

The Marvel superhero DOCTOR STRANGE gets his first debut on the big screen complete with 3D. Though the character has appeared in a TV movie and animated film before, he is given a fresh treatment which is a good thing considering that there are already too many super hero action movies each year.

HACKSAW RIDGE (USA/Australia 2016) ***** Top 10

After about a decade absence from the director’s chair (his last film was the misunderstood APOCALYPTO in 2006), the director of BRAVEHEART and THE PASSION…

I got my appraisal and it was possibly the best I have ever received, not because it was good or complimentary, but because they had obviously read it, and I mean completely and they properly criticized it! So their comments were not only ‘left of field’, but they were an accurate observation and they actually improved the script, not matter how hard they were to swallow. It was so worthwhile it was worth the price of entry just to get that feedback.

It’s been 108 years. The Chicago Cubs are now World Series champions.

WILDsound would like to congratulate the team from the North Side of Chicago. We are big fans of baseball and it was an amazing World Series, topped off with an incredible Game 7. Perhaps one of the greatest baseball games of all-time.

You want to study storytelling – watch Game 7 of the 2016 World Series. Amazing!

Most recently I had the job of a lifetime doubling Kathy Bates as “The Butcher” on American Horror Story Season 6: Roanok. I doubled for her once before on Mike and Molly when she was a guest star. We had to leg wrestle with Melissa McCarthy and that was hilarious. Kathy is a class act. She is warm and funny and so appreciative. She has a great laugh. I can’t say enough good things about her.
