What is your screenplay about?

In the spirit of A CHRISTMAS STORY and CHRISTMAS VACATION, it’s about a kid from a crazy family on a quest to get the most popular and expensive toy of the holiday season — an Atari 2600!

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

Family Holiday Comedy

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

Because Hollywood hasn’t made a good live action Christmas comedy for the entire family since ELF (nearly fifteen years ago.)

How would you describe this script in two words?

Funny & nostalgic

Over a year (with lots of starts and stops)

To date, I’ve written about 18 screenplays (at least half of which truly stink)

What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

Finding time to write it with work and going back to school

I’ve always loved to draw

Very user friendly

What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

Everybody told me it wasn’t commercial enough to get made but my college professor encouraged me to ignore the cynics, get it out in the world and see see if other people want to see a fun live action Christmas movie as much as I do. I LOVED the feedback from the festival. Honest. Thoughtful. Insightful and very constructive.

The FEEDBACK Monthly Film Festival is back for 2017. Our home is The Carlton Cinemas, located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 20 Carlton Street. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.

Continuing to showcase the best of short films from around the world, while maintaining our audience feedback format moderated by Kierston Drier and Amanda Lomonaco. Showcasing a festival twice a month in 2017!

Tickets for 2017 are PAY WHAT YOU LIKE. Tickets are first come first serve.

If you like to obtain seats in advance and pick them up on the day of the event (come for FREE, or make a donation), please email us at festivalevent@wildsoundfestival.com and we’ll reserve seats for you.

You can pick up the tickets on the day of the event at the cinema. Tickets are first come, first serve. This festival has sold out 50 out of its last 52 events!

You will be able to buy alcohol (beer, wine, liquor), popcorn, candy, and refreshments before the show.

Pepita and Max have all sorts of adventures. Monsieur Raf, Max’ toy giraffe, is always with them. When Max loses Monsieur Raf while hiking, the little boy can’t find sleep. Not even the Alpsegen, the lullaby of the mountains, which is meant to protect animals and people on the alp, helps. The peculiar tradition gives Pepita an idea: what works for Swiss alp-cows could also save a giraffe through the night.

Co-Creator of Chalk, Alex specialized in Directing, Editing, Building Chalk’s website, and the special effects behind Chalk.  Alex has made movie’s before, but not of this scale.  He recently finished a documentary called “Banff Bacon” which documents a road trip across Western Canada.  Outside of making movies, Alex enjoys comedy, photography, travel, and being an overall nerd.  Alex just finished his MBA at VCU and resides in Richmond, VA.

Director Biography

Anthony bennett

Anthony Bennett combines an interest in electronic music composition and video editing to produce unusual and thought-provoking visual material.

Anthony is a qualified computer engineer, actor and film editor with influences ranging from David Lynch to Chris Cunningham.

His experimental music video “Blue Horizon” won two film awards and received six nominations at several international film festivals between 2005 and 2006.

Anthony’s latest film “My Little Brother” delivers an important message for today’s society through a combination of stop-animation elements, handheld close up footage and an exciting child narration.
